Our CEO & Founder Laura Antonucci began her career as an A&D facility Revenue Cycle Manager in the 1990s. She soon found that she was adept at tracking the ever-changing insurance guidelines and fighting the seemingly endless appeals to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Substance Solutions was borne out of Laura’s first-hand experience with insurance companies and the frustrations they cause behavioral health professionals. We understand the nuances of communication between your facility and payors to make sure claims are approved, processed and paid seamlessly.

Nearly three decades later, Substance Solutions is an army of thorough, knowledgeable claim specialists, with offices in Tennessee and Florida, who serve facilities across 11 states. We leverage data from those 11 states to spot trends in behavioral health claims. This allows us to offer you personalized guidance in beating the insurance companies at their own game.
